i have a fully updated updated Tribe 5 (including the partial update
from today) in a Virtualbox Virtual Machine.
It no longer crashes but it has listed the "lirc_gipio" which is enabled but
not in use.
Disabling and enabling it wont generate terminal output

Pidgin tray icon does not show.
If a contact responds however the icon is visible on the tray,
but when clicking on the tray icon to respond, the message window pops up but
the tray icon dissepears again.

Well im afraid i cannot, the system i was testing on it is my primairy
computer.
i have however installed Gutsy since on a virtual machine on an
secondary XP computer and i have yet to notice the bug there :)

I was web surfing when the mouse dissepeared and nothing would respond.
I am using the version that comes with 6.06 with the following

The mouse works.
the bug doesnt come back after a reboot. This wasa my first encounter
with the bug. I alos do not know how to reproduce it
i realize this offers no help at all but at least we know the bug is
there
