I have no more freeze (since a few days) with 180.53 driver and a new
Intel Wireless WiFi Link 5100 driver that came with the jaynty-

The device is a SAMSUNG HM080HC 2.5" (80Go, FAT32), it works fine on
edgy with the 2.6.15-23-386 kernel-release, it is correctly detected on
feisty but not mounted (anothers usb disks are correctly mounted).
