I am also experiencing the problem with volume down on my Thinkpad X60s.
Further, the mute button locks my X display. Also, the media control
function keys no longer work with Rythmbox. All of these keys worked
fine in Hardy and earlier releases.

On one computer, I experience this on both Google Calendar and Westlaw.
I am reopenning it. Firefox 2 worked fine. It also appears that this
happens on other builds of Firefox 3, so I don't think it is merely the
Ubuntu build.

Did you follow the workaround in the bug description? The bug fix does
not help people who upgraded to Hardy before the bug was fixed. Please
try the following:
1. sudo rm /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
2. Reboot
/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules should have been regenerated
I am closing this as I no longer experience the problem on Gutsy.

I am still occasionally on my Thinkpad X60s (Intel audio) with an up-to-
date Hardy install. In fact, I just had it happen this morning. User
apps such as Rhythmbox will not play sound after resume until I kill
pulseaudio.

Yeah, it probably is, although I think it may be a bigger problem than
that bug lets on as the NetworkManager problem started occuring at the
same time. However, perhaps the most recent hal update triggered bugs
in both programs.
