I encounter the same bug and using 'sudo update-grub2' command doesn't help at all!! I have installed Windows 7 on my machine and the grub2 bootloader doensn't add it to the menu. I've tried that command and it just added duplicate copies of the already Ubuntu, Ubunu (recovery) Memtest, menu e
