Thank you Chris. I have found what I wanted there.
BUT: The debug packages are there on the server but there are not in the
repository.
The debug images (the vmlinux file) is in the .ddeb packages here:

But those packages are not in the Packages file

I can confirm slow Firefox scrolling on Gmail. on a Dell Latitude D630
laptop (Core2 Duo 2.2GHz, 4GB RAM) with Nvidia Quadro 135 (128mb).
Scrolling is so slow that I stop turning the mouse wheel and Firefox
tries to keep up for 20 more seconds (!!!) and sometimes it turns gray
(not responding).

The linux-image-debug package, provides the /boot/vmlinux image only for
2.6.25 series kernel, that is not used any more in Intrepid.
The vmlinux image for the kernel that is used (2.6.27), does not seem to

I can confirm this behavior. The behavior of Ctrl+C has changed silently
in jaunty, people might not even notice that they have configured ctrl+c
as a 'copy' shortcut.
It should change back to the previous behaviour (send ctrl+c signal if
no text is selected for copy) OR some mention of the change

amdgpu causes NULL pointer dereference when trying to use Topaz
The bug is still present for me in 16.04 as well.
Dual monitor - ctrl-alt-l or turn screen off when inactive do not turn
off the screen.
The workaround suggested from fugounashi works i.e., xset dpms force off but
it is not permanent.
The problem will come back after a while.

I have 2 very similar setups of 10.4. One laptop with i915 driver and a
desktop with nvidia driver and dual screen (xinerama). Both setups have
(almost) identical set of panels and gnome applets. The only difference
is an extra panel with "window list" applet in the second screen on the
desktop box
I was wrong, other apps are affected. Focusing on editable textboxs on
other gnome apps seems to trigger the bug.
