When I try to toggle on bluetooth (using the Fn F11 key on my Novatech
nfinity laptop) nothing happens. Others have mentioned that in passing
on Bug #1049466 but I thought I had better raise this as a separate bug
as, apart from not toggling off, my wireless is working fine so
I just tested on 13.10 and cannot get it to work there either. However
on 13.10 wireless fails after a short time and lspci shows no bluetooth
- not sure whether that info is relevant.

Yes - in 12.04 LTS.
I don't know about other people but for me, although I am running 12.04
LTS now, I do not need Bluetooth enough to be worth putting effort into
that.
However it would be nice if it could work when I eventually go to 14.04
LTS.
So shall I test on that?

I ran the daily buid from a usb stick (non-UEFI) and when I tried the
Bluetooth app it said that no Bluetooth adapters were found. Not sure
whether any of the below is useful.

Although the above workaround works for me on 12.10 I have had to move
to 12.04 (as some software I need is not on 12.10) and it does NOT work
for me on 64 bit 12.04 (kernel upgraded to 3.6.3 to fix wireless). Tried
kernel 3.7 but it would not boot.
