I hit this problem in Trusty with kernel "Ubuntu
4.4.0-36.55~14.04.1-generic 4.4.16" and is seems to be fixed with
"Ubuntu 4.4.0-38.57~14.04.1-generic 4.4.19" from trusty-proposed.

I was also affected by this bug, but copying the correct monitors.xml
from ~/.config to /etc/gnome-settings-daemon/xrandr fixed the problem
for me (in contrast to #19).

This bug appears, when the x86_64 version of clang is installed. When
you try to install clang-3.5:i386 some of the 64-Bit libraries get
removed due to conflicts, but obviously not libclang1-3.5.
The sloution is to first completely remove clang-3.5 and especially
libclang1-3.5 and then install cla
Adding --disable-gestures to /usr/share/applications/evince.desktop is only a
parital solution for me. I often start evince from the shell and then the
annoying gestures are back...
How can anybody include such a half-baked feature without the ability to
properly turn it off?
