I can confirm that this problem still exists in Brasero 0.8.4. There is
a message displayed now though indicating that the DVD cannot be burned
with the enabled plugins. However, I have every recommended package
installed. I am not sure what is missing and the debug log is no help
either.

This is possibly related to the initial burning of the DVDs. Even
though burning the data DVDs completes successfully, a burned DVD could
not be read by the BIOS to see if it was a startup disc. I learned this
after leaving a disc in the drive by accident when restarting. The

Here is a patch for this issue. Actually in jaunty it adds a menu entry,
but it does'nt add any icon, so i change it with an icon that is
provided by emma source package.
