Fresh install of Kubuntu Edgy Eft Beta 1 on Notebook (1400x1050).
I haven't the bootsplash.
On the grub line I have somethings like that
/boot..root=/dev/hda1 ro quiet splash
I've try to set some vga=(800x600, ecc) but the bootsplash doesn't work.

On Notebook, fresh Edgy Beta1 install, no bootsplash. I have an ATI Mobility
7500.
After some seconds, the X Login magically appears :D
