Mounting manually works fine with, e.g.,
sudo mount -t vfat /dev/sdg1 /media/Samsung_SPF-85H -o

I have a similar problem with my Zip 100 Plus parallel port drive under

sometimes it is as if the disk is ejected before hal recognizes that it
is unmounted.
Procedure:
1. Connect zip drive to parallel port and run sudo modprobe imm
Damn, it just happened again even though I did a manual gnome-umount
before ejecting. So it is unrelated to that.

Oh, forgot to mention that this is with the xemacs-mule package. The
plain xemacs package does not have this problem. I prefer mule since I
want to edit files in both latin1 and unicode.

Hi,
I'm the author of the Wiki entry on the Lifebook P7120. I can second the
observations above.

them they stay active even after rebooting.

Oh, I should have mentioned that I've only tried Dapper, not Edgy beta

Public bug reported:
I cannot print in landscape from any gnome apps. I can get the
orientation and placement of the printout right but the text is then
clipped to portrait width, leaving the right side of the landscape paper
blank.

OK, I tried this:
1. Check "rotate 90 degrees" and "landscape" in page setup. Preview is OK.
2. Go to print dialog. Orientation then defaults to "portrait" in this dialog,
which is reflected in preview and the actual printout. (This is another known
bug.) So one has to select "landscape" there a

impossible to set proper margins for almost all print jobs. If the unit
