Yesterday upgrade to xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.6.1 induced another
behavior.
Both monitor are still in clone mode, but now it works as expected since the
resolution on both monitor is the same.
The problem is that the resolution used (1024x768) is not preferred one of any

I like the new guest-login thing in Intrepid.

Sorry I have completely forgot to give the purpose of each key.
Fn+F7 key should enable/disable the touchpad
Fn+F2 key launch under Windows the Acer eSettings. Under Linux, may be it
should launch the Gnome Control Center ?
I am currently fiddling with fdi file and in particular this one :

In Jaunty Alpha 4, the Bluetooth switch turn on and off bluetooth but it also
raise the brightness.
This problem also exists in Intrepid.
Here a patch for /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/30-keymap-

I made a lot of tests in Jaunty alpha 4 and it seems that this bug is fixed.
GDM always shows up on the external screen (and unfortunately on the laptop
panel even if it is closed, but that's another story !).

There is something I don't understand.
According to the output of sudo input-events 5 and thanks to your explanation,
I thought I just needed to add the following line to
/usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/30-keymap-acer.fdi :
e071:f22
e026:setup
The problem is : these lines
