The fix only worked for a determined version of Onboard. You can enable
the "Force to top" available in newer versions of Onboard to work around
the problem until the issue is fixed again in dash.

As marmuta said above, the auto-show (auto-hide) needs the accessibility
framework to be enabled. In fact, it is the accessibility framework that
informs onboard about when to appear and hide. Thus, it is not possible
to use the auto-show feature without enabling the accessibility
framework.

and orange keys); I suppose that the person, that designed the theme
based it on the desktop background.
This said, it is not normal that you got the Classic Onboard theme on
startup, unless it was set that way in your user pre

Would it not be better to also remove the maximize button from the
window decoration also in Unity? In fact, how am I supposed to
unmaximize Onboard when the window decoration is available?

Sorry; I was not aware that the maximize button was still available in
Unity, because Compiz ignores the command to remove it.
I will change the title and description of this bug thread so that
people can find the different ways to unmaximize it more easily.

choose whether you want to on-screen keyboard to appear when unlocking
the screen.
