The fix in cups-filters does not work for me I guess.
I am using 1.0.15-0bzr1 and it still takes several minutes to print a page.
Btw. the time must be spent within the printer there is no printing
realted process using any CPU. The file does not get big either.

Yes it seems that something in the stack reads only from the .desktop
file. However for applications such as a java application which is
downloaded in place and not coming from the repos I think the .desktop
file is not viable.

I just wanted to report the same. Even though my mouse battery status
can be read I am a lot more interested in my laptop battery.

Ok after continued testing, I come to the conclusion that the EXA SNA
difference does not make any difference here.
I had my system running on EXA crash 4 times in the last 30 minutes. But
there is nothing in /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/i915_error_state not
/var/log/Xorg.0.log.
Any help?

fm, you're right - nothing in your Xorg.0.log or dmesg. And if there's
no i915_error_state file then it's sounding like it's not "just" a GPU lockup
or xserver crash
even possible it's not X locking up
fm, check .xsession-errors, /var/crash for any .cra
It again took just a few minutes to crash the system.
# sudo service lightdm restart
allows me to log in again.
.xsession errors does not contain anything relevant.

I cannot reproduce this bug with current Oneiric.
For moving upwards I used ALT-ArrowUp and in addition I tried clicking the Back
icon. Both actions are sucessfull.
