when the external power supply is removed during boot process. After booting

The VMware Server do support USB devices.
In Vmware Server 1.0.4.X (Ubuntu 7.04), I was able to access my webcam with
the server (Windows XP SP2 vmware server). and now in version 1.0.5.X
(Ubuntu 8.04) I can´t be able to access it.

Thanks for your suggestions. I tried them all for 4.10.0-35-generic and
4.14.0-rc2 without any change to the issues. I noticed that the shutdown
(until the power LED turns off) is very quick (1 to 2 seconds). The
delay between shutdown and the unwanted reboot is about 3 seconds.

Same here! Like described before: Hurry up fixing this! Steam in home
streaming brings ALL windows games to the linux box. Attention for this
bug will raise.
