Seems to be fixed now. Tested today (28.07.2008) with latest intrepid
updates applied and found that it works OK. When deselecting cloned

I confirm this.
I was able to fix that by downloading libuuid1_1.41.3-1ubuntu1_i386.deb
and copying 32bit versions of libuuid.so.1 and libuuid.so.1.2 into
/usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/i386/linux folder.
After that, restart installing on flashplugin-nonfree and it now
sucseeds.

(final) on my AOA110 and wifi works "out of box". Installing linux-

connection and try to add new route to it by IPv4
settings-->Routes-->Add. It is possible to add a route and it is
remembered when I close Routes window. When I press now OK again to go

Previosly I used 0 as prefix.
Consider this to be my stupidity, somehow did not get the idea that

I discovered that my problem was indeed different. While experimenting with
various settings, I had accidentally left "System setting" as checked. When
clearing that checkmark, my connection starts working.
Why does this affect the connection? If I understood correctly, this

installed latest network-manager from ppa and still got same issue:
openvpn connects OK but after few seconds nm creates Auto tap0
connection under wired tab and starts querying ip via dhcp which kills
ip already assigned to tap0 by openvpn server.
I was able to overcome this by adding

too. But only when connecting big external monitor (resoluton
1920x1200). With smaller 19" (1280x1024) external monitor it works OK.

everything works as expected. gnome-display-properties shows two
monitors. Now If I select "Clone Screens" checkbox screens are cloned,

Java swing demo application has the same issue when choosing GTK+ look.
Workaround is to launch netbeans (or java swing demo) with command line
option: "netbeans --laf Metal". This way it will look ugly and does not
blend well with overall desktop but at least menu is readable.

network device wlan1 not created.
