I also have this problem. One interesting thing that I have noted is
that if I suspend by running "sudo pm-suspend" in a shell I have a
working network directly after resumin, while if I suspend by clicking
the menu option in KDE it takes almost a minute after resume before I
have network again.

I can confirm that the solution in comment #8 (adding libglib2.0-dev to
build deps) works for me.

This does not happen when resuming from suspend. I have not used
hibernate with any previous kernel version, so I can't know if it has
worked before.
