After wake up from suspend (which works fine on Sony laptops since
Feisty) and hibernate the brightness state isn't restored. The problem
seems to be that under /proc/acpi/sony/ only the brightness entry is
changed but not the brightness_def
The spicctrl entry makes no sense for me and results at least on
sony_acpi Laptops in a bug (sets brightness on the lowest option to 33
(which is out of bound 0-8)) so I have removed it. I could do a separate
bug report for it but I think it is not needed.

I don't know since which version but SD seems to work in Feisty but only for
standard SD cards (up to 2 GB) not the big ones but I think this is a hardware
problem since the light flashes at first and stick gets mounted but after some
seconds it disappears with a file system error in dmesg and t

resolution monitors. ATM I am using the standard i810 driver for LFP and
the i810-modesetting driver for external. Interesting point is since I
created a script to switch between this drivers the resolution is always

UltraVNC through wine. Gnome-rdp has some huge bugs and use the

always got BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation) with every video

I can confirm this. Without this package hp printer like Photosmart are
recognized as Laserjet in the HPLIP Toolbox. After installing it

It seems to be fixed with today latest Feisty upgrades. Quickstarter uses
ooffice instead and shows always the systray icon.
I personally prefer the blue standard symbol with the birds but who cares if it
works.

I can confirm this. The problem is that OpenOffice puts the applicaton
name openoffice.org2.2 instead of ooffice in session autoload list.

I don't know if this is the right place but I have the same keyboard so I
thought this would be a good place. I could of course create a new bug report.
Most of the keys are working except the dead ones "My Favorites", 1,2,...,5,
special function of F10 and the zoom slider.

You are my personal hero. Until I found this nothing worked for me to getting
my external 1680x1050 monitor working with my laptop and its Intel 915 graphic
card. I have tried nearly every Howto, 915resolution, Modlines and so on
without success. After installing the modsetting it worked out of

problems with my external monitor on pipe A if there is no
MonitorLayout-Option set. If you like, I can post xorg.conf and
