I think I have the same problem. It resizes the partition, checks the
file system, then tries to resize the filesystem to fit the partition.
resize2fs gives an error, so GParted just gives up and doesn't try to
fix the problem it created.

If I click "Send files to device", it gives me a file chooser. I select
a file and it gives me a device selection dialog. These should probably
be reversed. I press Connect, and it gives a "File Transfer" window,
with an error. "org.openobex.Error.ConnectionAttemptFailed".
Can someone please explain what these buttons mean?

So you can burn 4.2 GiB, but not 4.4 GiB? That sounds like a units
error. 4.4 GiB = 4.72 GB, while a DVD can only hold 4.70 GB.
This is most likely a misunderstanding due to Nautilus' use of non-
standard units, Bug #130200 (though k3b's error message could certainly
be improved).

How about this? We could consider the backup file to be "attached" to
the main file, and both would normally be shown as one icon. If you
select the icon, it will say something like this in the status bar:
"To do list.txt" (and 1 hidden attachment) selected
If you then move or rename this,
"Show attachments" would be better wording than "Expand". I was just
thinking of the way different IM accounts are grouped as a single user
in Pidgin.

three dialog boxes, none of which are helpful.
