My bad, I was testing with trunk.
1.6 refuses to update feeds when in offline mode, and correctly detects
NM status changes.
However, if you set the preference to update all feeds on startup, and
start Liferea when there's no network, it will correctly detect that

You are right. It would be awesome to get our changes in Debian. I'll

Today, I've seen a lot of people complaining because of a broken
subversion. All of them were using Feisty, and all of them had the
-proposed repository enabled. However, they should have had it disabled,
since they don't know that repository is for testing software.
