Similar problem here. With kernel 2.6.24-19-386, WPA-PSK doesn't work,
but if I boot with 2.6.22-14 it connects fine. I can currently scan
networks and connect using WEP or no encryption on the new kernel,

After some uptime I got the following in dmesg:

I finally figured out how the input hotplug stuff works.
So I disabled it ("AutoAddDevices" "false") and tried the old mouse
driver. No difference.
So I'm pretty sure this is not a bug in evdev or mouse, as both drivers
display the bug.
So everything points now to the kernel. I'll try an older k

However, if I plug an USB audio Headset, mouse behavior worsens a lot.

For reference, the card reader on my system enables the following

I solved the problem, moving the Desktop dir to another place, making
and empty desktop dir, log in, log out, moving the old desktop back. The
icons now are normal, using the same symlink.
Perhaps could nautilus remember settings about icon behaviour?

hibernate script together acpi-support scripts on dapper

they work wery well...

I've the same problem in edgy (deskbar + beagle-live). The filename is
"/home/emix/Università/cv.pdf" and the error reported is:

I've a fresh installation of edgy (no upgrade from dapper) and the
problem is only in deskbar (beagle-live extension). With "Desktop
Search" it works fine.

If I try to move an icon on the desktop, the default action is copy. If I press
shift on the keyboard the icon is moved correctly.

I have also this problem with 945 gm (hp nx7400) using dapper with beryl
repositories (1.6.5) and using edgy (xorg 7.1 i810 1.6.5).
With 1.4.1 I have ~1700fps with glxgears, with 1.6.5 ~700 fps like you.
This should to be fixed prior edgy release
I noticed errors in my xorg log with 1.6.5 dri

- Create a text file with spaces or "àèéìòù" in its path.
- Search it with Tracker (live results) in Deskbar.
- Open it.
Gedit starts with a new blank file instead of opening the right one.
