This is an install bug, that causes install from the Live CD to HANG at 82% for
ages, and then #'ed all the entries in sources.list, which one must edit after
install (Which many would have given up on in the Southern hemisphere at least,
as it was glacial after 82%).
Now Kubu
This silly "Claytons" adept update bug is also present with a new install, as
well as the 82% install freeze bug.
Two new fundamentally disturbing bugs in an otherwise fine release that is
really still beta I think, though not as beta as Vista.

Hi,
this is an important bug, and needs fixing hopefully very soon.
It is related to libgtk latest version, which is kaput. It is fixed for now by
installing the downgraded package libgtk2.0-0_2.10.11-0ubuntu3_i386.deb, but
then adept wants to upgrade it and reports a whole swag of broken packa

for me it is better, but not completely fixed, for on reboot, ADSL broadband is
still offline .
Networking in system settings shows the Ethernet port to be configured.
However the panel icon is disabled.
The port is a CK804 Nvidia 100MB/S, which worked fine on installation for a
