I forgot to say this issue seems to be present even of a 9.04 with custom
kernel 2.6.30 compiled with Kernelcheck using the same configuration of kernel

The information collected are merged after an hang with kernel
V3.8.0-23-generic and a forced reboot (pressing power button).
Again, my system is stable with kernel V3.6.11, the Issue starts with kernel
V3.7.0+.
I installed also openssh-server to see if I can access the machine remot

grub entry on V3.6.11 on startup so the system works. It's not my

Yeah David, both alsa-infos were taken with headphone plugged in.
I tried quickly and no one seems to affect the hiss. I admit to haven't tried
so much because I have a fly to Rio within few hours and I have many things to
do.
