Yes, it's still there in Intrepid, but it doesn't happen quite as often.
Maybe every three reboots from OS X or so.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I was listening to an album in Rhythmbox (without shuffle), with the
crossfade backend on, set to 0.1 seconds, just to make it play
gaplessly. For some reason, one of the songs ("Heimdalsgate Like a
Promethean Curse" by Of Montreal) didn't play
Do you want me to copy the output? It seems I can't do that, the output
is way to large to highlight and copy, and it won't redirect to a file
when I ask it to.

Nevermind, I managed to do it.
I have attached a log of me playing the song "Did You See the Words" by
Animal Collective, fast forwarding to the end, expecting to have the
next song "Grass" playing, which it doesn't (I discovered this song also
has this problem). Then I doubleclick on "Grass", wh
The problem seems to occur more infrequently than before. Both times it
has happened since your comment the problem was gone after I plugged the
mouse out and in again. dmesg.log.problemgone is the output of dmesg
after I unplugged and replugged it, dmesg.log.problem is before I
unplugged it.

How so? I can see it just fine in my previous comment? See:

Public bug reported:
On boot, sometimes the mouse pointer is stuck and won't move unless the
mouse is plugged out and back in, and even then it will only work for a
few seconds until it's stuck again. It's Apple's Mighty Mouse. I dual-
boot OS X, and the problem only seems to appear when I have
This problem hasn't occured since I upgraded to Jaunty, so it appears to
be fixed.

This bug affects me on 14.04. Would it be dangerous to endeavour an

I'll be happy to. I'm not the most experienced with this, so let me
just check that I got this right: when I install v3.2-rc4 (the latest

asked to choose the new or the old kernel? Because at the moment, it

I tried 3.2rc4, but the problem persists. Also, it won't connect to the

I'm having this problem too, again. It did work when I first mounted it
today, but then suddenly it was read-only on the next mount. On 10.04.
dosfsck returns this for /dev/sdb:
