I have a similar issue on karmic, tty seems to be set in English keyboard,
while my system was installed and configured for Spanish. After running $sudo
setupcon, tty is fixed and start to use Spanish keyboard.
But it is the same problem, you need to run setupcon for each time you login on
tty.

If I comment this line:
deb ftp://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/ sid main contrib non-free
The crash is not reproducuble.
Also it is not reproducible if I keep the line:
deb ftp://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/ sid main contrib non-free
but comment various ubuntu repositories.

I activate Debian repository to eventually install some package from
there, I always take care about not installing uncomptatible packages or
replace important core packages by its Debian version.
I am doing this since years in previous Ubuntu releases and apt do not used to
crash by this.

This bug is specific of Ubuntu/Kubuntu, in Debian GNU/Linux, this bug is
not pressent.

This printer works just in Kubuntu 7.10 beta1 snapshot, but doesn't works in up
to date Kubuntu 7.10.

umount removable media as USB sticks and CD/DVD media, in case of CD/DVD also
should extract it.
Guadalinex distribution already have this, may be you can use it.

One problem is that linux-image-2.6.22-12-generic and
linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-12-generic packages has been disapeared from
repositories, and if someone has cleaned package, he cannot install them again.
It is not possible purge it unless someone create manually a fake file
/boot/System.map-2

K3b present a button that deploy a menu with additional actions in the main
screen.
In Spanish translation the text of this button is now "Acciones futuras", this
is wrong, correct text would be "Más acciones" or "Acciones adicionales".

The solution is to set right permissions to them with chmod.

Using Kubuntu Hardy Heron + KDE 3.5.9
Permissions on NTFS partitions are not well configured.
Steps:
1) I install Kubuntu Hardy from Desktop CD.
2) During installation i choose manual partitioning and i configure a partition
sdb1 to be used as NTFS and mounted on /media/datos
