I think this issue is not problem of upstream, becouse this cannot be
reproductible in Debian with KDE 3.5 or Open Suse with KDE 3.5.

I think the problem is in alsa, alsamixer has not mute option for Master
channel.
Then kmix has not mute option for Master channel.

Suspend to RAM from KDE Kickoff menu works well, but from battery widget close
session and resumes to kdm, the same issue happens when closing the laptop lid.
It seems that suspend to RAM managed by Powerdevil fails.

Hello, I have Kubuntu 9.04 upgraded from 8.10.
Since a few days after some update, gtk-qt-engine does not work over regular
users accounts, I mean that for applications which run as super user as like as
synaptic, gtk-qt-engine is working
This bug is not a duplicate of bug 326648, bug 326648 is about problems with
gtk-qt-engine dependence of libbonobo2-0.
This bug is more recent and is about gtk-qt-engine is not working when
libbonobo2-0 is already installed.

At session close, X seems to hangs, Bloq Mayus key does not light keyboard led,
tty consoles are not visible, but Alt + Impr + k close X server and tty
terminals come accessible.
After this, /etc/init.d/kdm start report that kdm is still running,
/etc/init.d/kdm restart, starts kdm and X server
