@franchus3: I have the same problem but with different hardware. I'm
using an old PCMCIA and I solve the problem by unplugging and then
plugging the card. Can you do something like that? Maybe turn it OFF/ON?

Apps shouldn't go creating directories in /home/ that's what
.config and .local are for. In that sense, this enhancement would be a
