In the file: /lib/udev/rules.d/50-udev-default.rules change the line that reads
like:
KERNEL=="card[0-9]*", NAME="dri/%k"
to this:
KERNEL=="card[0-9]*", MODE="0666", NAME="dri/%k"
That got DRI at least partially "working" but it is still dog slow (but not as
slow at least).

Is there any progress on this? How are people using this with any kind
of shared storage, atm? I only have a dozen VMs, so it's not that

My lsusb, although it appears to occur independently of what USB device
I use. I am currently powering this from a USB hub. It works for a few
hours before it crashes. The same happens with a 5V adapter.
