Ok, this issue was half-fixed in 2.8.11.0-0ubuntu2. Now it only happens
when python-wxgtk2.6 is installed and /usr/lib/wx/python/wx2.6.pth
provides /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/wx.pth. I'm going to upload a
package which fixes this issue. Thank you for this bug report.
