I'm seeing the same thing running Ubuntu 8.10 with a Logitech bluetooth
mouse on a Dell Inspiron 9300. Specifically, I've noticed it when first
logging in, or after turning the mouse off and back on again.

This occurred to me while doing a clean install of Xubuntu 9.10 from the

I increased my available space and attempted to install Xubuntu again.
This time it was successful. However, I was unable to download the
available updates due to lack of disk space.
The total disk space used (du -hc /) was 2.2G--with nothing but default
Xubuntu applications installed. As noted
