Public bug reported: Just updated to Ubuntu 17.10. Trying to disable ipv6 on my wifi connections using network manager applet (Ubuntu settings). Only place possible to do so via GUI seems to be on each wifi connection's setting, under IPV6 tab. However, disabling has no effect. ifconfig shows: wl

Possibly related to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=858070 Am seeing similar behavior, cannot remove the address manually on CLI using ip addr del or ifconfig either. Same error (RTNETLINK answers: Cannot assign requested address) ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #858070
