Did you try disabling v-sync? also, disabling the "detect refresh rate"
(or update rate, i have it in spanish) and then move the refresh rate
bar to the right (will mark 200).
It resolved (almost) all my problems with compiz in my system (but i'm
using intel). I use to do the same changes for nvid
I've updated from xorg-edgers ppa and my problems gone. Must be related
to xorg someway.

i've just tested it and it's working on a ubuntu natty installation. Qxl
driver works and sound too.
Now when i tried to add the virtio-serial from virt-manager, i couldn't.
So I compiled the latest 0.8.7 version with virtinst 0.500.6, but when i
tried to add the spicevmc it complains with an erro

I recently contacted Realtek by myself, and they kindly sent me back a
file that claims to be 2.6.27 compatible.
I have it compiled on intrepid with 2.6.27-7 driver and working without
patching (lots of warnings during compile time btw like usual). Wifi
working and all stuff with my wpa-psk connec
What i said to the realtek support is they had a more updated version of
the driver than the current listed here, and a driver compatible with
the 2.6.27, and they sent me this one.
Like a mate said here, what i did was compile it, and then copy all the .ko
files to:
/lib/modules/2.6.27-7-generic

the kernel module installs (you can get the wlan0 interface if you run
iwconfig) but you don't get any signal (if you run iwlist wlan0 scan you

Well, my comment is not very useful (maybe a bit) but this card works
terrible. What i've done is remove it from the laptop and buy a brand
new intel 3945 for 20$ on ebay. Problem resolved. Ubuntu loads it out of
the box and works great.
