Hello,
I can't get wl driver to work against kernel 3.8.0-rc4 ... When
compiling, I get these error messages :

The problem is with the calls:
GLib.spawn_command_line_sync ('pkill -f "^bluetooth-applet$"'); in
/usr/share/gnome-shell/js/ui/status/bluetooth.js
and
Util.killall('indicator-application-service'); in
/usr/share/gnome-shell/js/ui/statusIconDispatcher.js
If you comment them out, the Gnome thing

When clicking on the Settings button in Virtualbox, system freezes instead of
opening the Settings window. I see a lot of debug lines on the terminal where
I started the gnome-shell ... and by commenting in

Effectively, rename /run/udev to /run/udev.old solves the issue!
Still funny that an empty directory create such an issue ...
