[Bug 92420] sshfs crash

2007-03-14 Thread DaveAbrahams
Public bug reported: I was just Alt-tabbing between windows when it happened. I had lots of files in that filesystem open in emacs, but there's no indication it was doing something with them at the time -- no failures, no messages. ** Affects: sshfs-fuse (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided

I take it back; I think emacs was doing a "cvs update" in that filesystem. -- sshfs crash https://launchpad.net/bugs/92420 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 50324] Re: Dapper / IBM T60p - sleep/suspend does not work when configured

2007-03-18 Thread DaveAbrahams
Can't say anything about dapper, as I upgraded to edgy long ago. On edgy (with fglrx installed and listed in MODULES in /etc/acpi-support), hibernate is completely hopeless (the hibernation process seems to get wedged) and sleep only "sorta works." If my laptop is not in its dock, I can sleep and

Yes, I managed to install it. I am having some problems getting the nvidia legacy driver to do GLX I think. Also suspend and hibernate are busted on my Inspiron 8100. But it occurs to me that maybe "could you do some additional testing while booting off the alternate CD?" might not have been in

So typical. You don't respond to the bug report for months and months, then you ask me to test it with some pre-release version of the OS, and if I don't, you close it. Why should I even bother reporting these things? -- [Hardy] sensors-applet not added to applet selection https://bugs.launchpad
