Simply put, I cannot get the spellcheck to work, using any of the tool
or gui menus. The custom dictionary issues are likely the result of
something that I did, however I cannot delete them. IE - I cannot delete

I'm closing this bug, since the root problem seems to have been
addressed in gcalctool included with Ubuntu 9.04.
Now, the Accuracy only seems to persist while in Scientific mode. If
the user switches to any other mode, the accuracy is reset to 9 places.

I added the cx18 module to the blacklist (usually used for video capture
cards like the Hauppage) and the problem is resolved for me.

I believe I managed to make this screen-zooming problem go away on my
Toshiba R100 by changing the boot-loader kernel display mode used. I
settled on vga=791 and have been able to change the brightness without
any zooming quite a lot since. The zooming problem occassionally re-
occurs after suspend
Update to Intrepid has essentially turned my Toshiba Portege R100 into a
(1.1kg) desktop machine: I've lost fn keys, suspend to RAM, toshset
controls, trackpad scrolling, and hibernate decided to break also. At
least the first couple relate to this kernel change I suspect...

No, I'm afraid I don't. I'd like to note that the Intrepid upgrade broke a
number of things (e.g. Toshiba fn keys, suspend, hibernate, touchpad
scrolling). Most of the problems aren't the fault of the packages that do
the job

This problem is resolved for me. I'm not entirely sure how it came
about but it is reminiscent of the old SCSI representation issues I used
to see in Debian. After a set of updates the device (previously at
/dev/hdb ) failed entirely when trying to burn DVD or CD material. But
