I just re-tested and in firefox3beta5 in my installation of hardy, the
bug does not occur anymore. You can resize the references-window both

This is interesting. On my installation of an up-to-date hardy alpha 5 this
works just fine (see screenshot attached). I tried this with the English
Wikipedia search and FF3beta3.
And you have to wait a few seconds until the suggestions show up. It is not as

There is no gnome-network-manager either in Hardy.

Yeah, sorry, somehow I didn't realize that what was meant was the missing
leading zero in the ENTRY FIELDS. (As time shows correctly in the text above
the entry fields).

Maybe we should clarify what the reason was for the change that introduced the
usability regression.
Could someone who knows, why this was changed, explain the reason for that?

As I said, this bug occurs in both time dialogues:
The "Time & Date"-Dialogue you get via System -> Administration -> Time and
Date (time-admin)
I believe this is part of the package gnome-system-tools
The "Adjust Date & Time" Dialogue you get via right click on the clock applet
-> Adjust Date
I would second this.
I know that the changelog also contains the version of the packages. But
sometimes, the changelog is not available yet and is it IMHO important to know
which version you are upgrading to.
The other thing is, that, sometimes you do not know the version of the
currently insta
