When using the google calander and adding a new event with recurrence.
These events shows a one single event on google calender web interface.

I was able to fix this in Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10.
What I did was went to the directory
/etc/udev/rules.d/
And looked at what files were there one was
70-net.rules
So when I created my wminput rules I went to terminal and typed sudo
gedit then when it opens you have root control then you type
Also I can only assume that the same principle would apply to other versions
like if you were running it one 9.04

Disabling a kernel module permanently is not a solution, it's a
workaround. A very poor one at that since the module is specifically
targeted at the laptops that are experiencing the problem. And then
there's the problem that without the acer_wmi module my bluetooth
adapter is unusable too.

I am experiencing the same problem, on an acer laptop as well. When
konsole locks up other applications still behave normally but switching
to the console (CTRL-Fn) doesn't work either. Konsole tabs cannot be

experience lag, on my laptop the biggest problem is freezing. The
weirdest thing is anything(!!) involving a command prompt seems to be

scaling using the default wayland on gnome 3.36.4. I have a vega 56 and
use the amdgpu drivers. If I leave the ghost cursor and get on with
something else it will eventually change to a square of random brightly
coloured pixel
That will teach me for subscribing to hirsute-proposed updates!
Hopefully I can switch the ownership back from a LiveUSB .

Hi i have a Lenovo g50-80 with the same bug ate the time i didnt notice at the
