thank you for the long list. You describe realy usefully things and with
a little luck someone will pick them up for a upcoming Mixxx version.
Unfortunately we cannot track them with this meta bug.
There is a better chance to see them implemented if you split them up into
small tasks.

This is a also an annoying problem to me.
The Ubuntu 12.04 fixes the problem by using the handle for resizing only with
those applications where the scroll bar is the next to the window border.
For me the underlying issue is the way the scrolling handle appears!

me-tv_1.3.6 -1ubuntu0.1_i386.deb
and a source build from
me-tv-1.3.7.tar.gz
on Preciese.
Both are still effected by this bug.
The Gui is still not usable after start, sometimes.
But TV is playing (allways)
Somtimes the Gui works after start but get staled leater.

I have tested a littel more with me-tv-1.3.7.tar.gz
Creating a fresh database did not solve the issue.
me-tv --disable-epg-thread
.. solves the issue, except that the channel puttes are blank and apearing
about 1 minute after start.
When pressing "Jetzt" (Now) the buttons apears instantly.

It truns out that the issue happens with the GitHub workflow runner,
because gcc-14 is installed as well. Clang and clazy pics by default the
highest installed libstdc++ library which is in this case the
incompatible version 14, there is no easy solution to override this
behavior.
A workaround is
