Ubuntu 11.10 doesn't recognize my touchpad.

I couldn't find valid information about my touchpad's manufacturer that
might help fix this issue on Lenovo's website. Plus I don't have the
necessary capabilities to extract that information from my laptop
itself. So I guess I must give up on getting a fix for this (for now)
and hope one will be f
Well, apparently it was a weird hardware thing. I decided to take out my
mouse buttons and found out a small cable in my touchpad was
disconnected. Once I got it back into place, ubuntu recognized my
touchpad. Scrolling works now :)
