So, to recap:
Wine use p11-kit to get ssl working, that needs a module:

pkcs11.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Relevant for 10.10 as well, unclear if the last two comments to the
gnome-bugzilla mentioned earlier pertains to a fix that's in the gnome-
applets codebase or if it was independent testing, I hope it will be
fixed in time for 11.04.

This bug affects me (10.10, 64bit) and has done so for a long time (at

When having many tabs opened in google chrome (swap), compiling large
projects or updating git repositories which requires disk-io, system
becomes unusable (may take 15-200 seconds for mouse pointer to move f
My main computer has been a bit unstable lately, after the last crash it
wouldn't boot.
My root fs is btrfs on luks on an ssd. During boot, I get to type in my
passphrase and then it just hangs a few lines after I short while after
I have pressed enter. I tried booting off a usb-stick (on it now)

I have this bug as well, 11.04 64bit, upgraded from ~9.04 -> {9.10,
10.4, 10.10} -> 11.04, Nvidia GTX580.
With Nvidia drivers 270.41.06 (default shipped)

compiz --replace didn't work, neither in a gnome-terminal nor in a vt
(with DISPLAY=:0)
Sometimes when executing unity (which in turn pokes compiz) though, I
get a segfault (attached)

Sorry for my late reply.
Debian has it listed as an obsolete package,
packages they have:
2.59
2.61
2.65
None of the above mentioned packages has this problem.
As I have never reported bugs to Debian, do they take bugfixes for
obsolete packages?
