Addition to my previous comment: I can still see the "dropbox" process
on the system monitor even after the indicator crashed. But I don't have
any idea on how to figure out the reason the indicator keeps crashing...

I'm affected too. This bug renders Dropbox hardly usable on my desktop
as without the indicator I cannot use the "selective sync" feature.
