I get both of these problems on the two up-to-date hardy systems I have
access to. One is running AMD64 and the other is running the 32-bit

The 64-bit machine has this video card:

I think this bug should be reopened, since there is no confirmation of a
fix with a hardy install (using compiz and nvidia-glx-new), and I can
reproduce it every time.
To me, the fact that xdvi doesn't display properly until a resize is a
very minor issue. The crashing of the X server is much mor
I get this problem consistently on my jaunty machine. I log in first.
Then my kids log into their account using the fast user switcher. Then
I switch back to mine and connect a camera. Very often the camera

During a "do-release-upgrade -d" from 16.04 to 18.04, an unrelated error
occurred. DNS didn't work at that time, so I removed resolvconf. I
manually updated my sources.list and did a successful dist-upgrade.

I installed version 3.28.1-0ubuntu3 of gnome-session-bin gnome-session-common

(When I upgraded from 16.04 to 18.04, do-release-upgrade stopped with an error,
so I did the rest of the upgrade manually.)

I can confirm this in maverick i386. It makes it hard to see legitimate

I get this popup every time I plug in my Samsung Galaxy SII to charge.
I don't expect it to try to mount in this situation. To mount it, I
select the "Connect USB storage" option on the phone, and then it

I also got this when upgrading from 12.04 to 14.04. Maybe the program
can be fixed to be resilient to schema changes?
