it's not working for me, as it ejects the disk and then doesn't load it,

Don't worry, the fix is coming any minute now :)
The new Linux kernel has the fix, it is in the queue, at seems like it
was approved to be uploaded in main. Just check Update Manager tonight,

Of course, JanJan, compiz configuration doesn't allow the screensaver to
start. Disabling compiz will "solve" the bug. But this is not the idea.
The idea is to have screensaver *and* compiz. So we need to disable only
*part of* compiz. The info in bug 159263 does exactly that.

I agree, it is able to *read* passwords from keyring.
The problem is, looking at the passwords with
Application|Accessories|Passwords and Encryptions keys, I saw that I had
my WPA password twice, for the same ESSID. I deleted both of them,
hoping that the network-applet will write only one.

The manual check integrity doesn't seem to work...
I selected Tools|Check Integrity and it reported this operation cannot be
performed
Then I selected Tools|Check Integrity again, this time saying that I would use
a md5 file (and selected the one one the disc). After calculating the image

this will kill pulseaudio, and alsa will be used directly (not through
pulseaudio). You need to restart rhythmbox to pick up the new card (when
pulseaudio is running it makes itself the default audio card. Without it, alsa

For me it is really simple.
Rythmbox playing a mp3 file. Minimize another application, maximize it,
then alt-tab a couple of times, you'll hear music shuttering.
Close Rythmbox. Type in terminal
pulseaudio -k
Start Rythmbox. Play. Do the trick with windows. No shuttering, as hard
as I try.
