Some changes to the deck format are not backwards compatible. If you
create a deck on the latest version on Windows, you will not be able to
read it with 0.9.5.7. Since the latest upstream can read them, I think
this bug should be closed.

Qt tooltips default to yellow, and Anki is not setting them explicitly.
Sounds like a problem with Qt or your theme.

other way around.

The default Qt font on Ubuntu does not support underlines. If you change
it with qtconfig-qt4 it should work.

version of Anki does not have this problem, but unfortunately the Debian
maintainer does not seem to be actively maintaining the package. This is
