I too have this bug. I am unable to provide full logs as I am currently
mobile, but I can provide snippets if I can be told where to look.
I installed Intrepid standard (not 64bit) and updated it fully last
night, when I powered on this morning the bug occurred. Perhaps forcing
a version of a part
I have since managed a work around.
1. Identify the pid of nm-applet and do 'kill '
2. Run nm-applet with sudo/root (sudo nm-applet)
If you run nm-applet as a standard user it outputs something about
insufficient user privileges. I can provide this output if it would
help.

I can confirm this bug, with 2.6.24-17, fglrx 8.5.
The difference is that the system seems to hibernate fine, but does not
resume on reboot (it just cold boots)
However, if I go to the virtual console and hibernate from there, it
works.
(radeon 9700 here)

Some changes to the deck format are not backwards compatible. If you
create a deck on the latest version on Windows, you will not be able to
read it with 0.9.5.7. Since the latest upstream can read them, I think

I have the same issue. I installed Gutsy then upgraded it using Update
Manager to Hardy. No freezing; acknowledgment that there is a wireless card,
but it's not finding any networks.
I am going to hard wire it and do a full update, including proposed updates
and see if that helps.

I'm now on Intrepid and haven't seen the bug happen for a long time. I
think you can close it, I will reopen if necessary.

Installing xubuntu 6.06 on pc and crashed with following error at the very end
of the installation. I have had this problem on other pc's, so I'm

When I try to get the graphics 'Pressing the show graphics' button, I
always get this message:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
freeglut (screensaver): failed to open display ':0.0'
** Affects: boinc (Ubuntu)

file .config/autostart and not the directory .config/autostart/ ...
When it want to save program the second time, it's say : Don't able to
