[Bug 778283] [NEW] Xorg freeze

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg After upgrading to natty, the screen saver freezes frequently. Sometimes I can get a terminal with CTL-ALT-Fx, but other times it requires a power cycle to recover. Browsing the log files, I noticed the following 2 messages repeated every 1-2 second

I am seeing something similar with the released 11.04 distribution. The symptom is that I'll leave the computer running and when I come back it is hung, either with a black screen or a frozen screensaver. The only way I have found to recover is a power cycle. Browsing the logs, I see the followi
