1. On every start up from dual boot in XP SPk3 after problem started was
a repeat.
This may not be repeatable on another machine, one of the power
pull shut down may have resulted in a corrupted file or failed closure.
I did not find any disk maintenance programs to be able to verify
thes

Evolution shows 67 messages in INBOX , Charter.net sever shows 611.
Since it is IMAP protocol Charter
