try, but this is completely same configuration that i used on Ubuntu
12.04 untill i installed 14.04, couple days ago.
On 12.04 i didn't have the problem.

This bug affects me on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, also tried 15.04.
I have two benq gl2450. If i boot with both plugged in, i have
performance issues, window drag lag etc... I unplug hdmi one, and plug
it in after login, don't have issue, as suggested here, as workaround.

I am having the same issues with the Radeon HD 6450, and Ubuntu 13.10,
14.04. Everything after 12.04. The issues doesn't happen in Ubuntu 12.04
LTS which i use as my primary system. I also have tearing with Xu
I am having issues with Radeon HD 6450, with both proprietary and open
source drivers. I don't have issues on Ubuntu 12.04, but everything
after that yes. Tried both Ubuntu 13.10 and 14.04. I switched to my
integrated Intel HD 2000, and didn't have issues.

I just installed shimmer themes 1.5.
Why have the blue color replaced gray in menu items on Greybird? It
doesn't look like Greybird anymore. :( It looks like Mac theme. :(

I got the same problem. Trying to install Ubuntu 10.04.4 64bit. This is
the first time i had this kind of problem. Installed 10.04 a million
times (32bit). I just got a new machine with 8 GB of RAM so i wanted 64
bit ubuntu.
