I have the same problem with azureus shutting down at start-up. Cleaning
the logs does not work, as well as choosing other java provider. I have
installed the repository version in Gutsy beta with all the updates.

I confirm that the problem is connected to rewritable media. Even the CD
iso burnt on a normal DVD works fine.
