I can confirm this bug as well. It occurs every time I insert my
Creative Muvo V100 mp3 player into the USB slot. The insertion causes
two windows to open with the contents of the drive.

It appears that its not so unstable any more. I agree that it must have
been caused by other issues.

I seem to have had the same crash just by sitting around. Pidgin was
open and fine and then it crashed without any real cause (at least not a
visible one).

Looks to be the same bug. It became unresponsive and I had to close the
window with the "x", which brought up the "force quit" dialogue. I had
2 tabs open and had clicked on a link. One tab was for
theweathernetwork.com and the other was Google reader. I clicked the
link in Google Reader.
