You are right, I also have a script in my home folder and it does only work
after start up, not after resuming (although you can always start it manually
by clicking it).
The strange thing is that in 11.04 I had a similar workaround to switch on
touch gestures but those worked also after resumin

There is a "workaround": When I move an all day event in Thunderbird's
month view to another day, it brings up another "shadow" symbol of the
courser during moving that disappears when the date is dropped and then
also the "double" courser icon is gone!

Whenever I click on Desktop Nautilus crashes. It also crashes randomly
when using it in other folders. After that it does not restart for some
time. Tried deinstalling nautilus-open-terminal and Ubuntu One, no
effect, also after restart. The problem occurred yesterday after
updating.

I just experienced this bug in current 13.04 alpha and solved it also by
going to my profile folder to switch sizemode="fullscreen" back to

I had this working on 12.10. I installed 13.04 from scratch two weeks
ago and can receive files sent from phone but not sending from notebook,

Happens to me on my Fujitsu T730 and T902 with 13.04. When I change the

Mmmh, I'm running 11.04 on a Tablet PC and this is really a key
feature for me, as I use the Desktop as a folder. I need something I can
touch with a finger, otherwise I have to go back to DockbarX and
simulate Unity which were really a pitty...

@mlaverdiere: Thank you for pointing me to that patch. Most of the time it is
working instantly, if it does not you just have to wait till it stops blinking
and then press it again - not a big deal compared to swiveling the screen
